RUBE'S RUN
Rube's Run takes place on July 25, 2026, at the Presbyterian Church of Prospect, 115 Church Street, Prospect PA 16052. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a separate kids race.

- 5K virtual
- 150 yards for children
Registration opens April 10. For the in-person 5K the entry fee is $20 if received by July 18 and $25 after that date and on race day. Online registration for the in-person 5K closes July 24. Virtual race registration closes July 18 and has a $20 fee; virtual participants are not eligible for awards but will be listed among virtual finishers. Virtual participants who register by July 18 may pick up a complimentary T-shirt on Friday, July 24, or have it mailed for an additional $8. Virtual participants must report their time by noon on race day.
The Kids Race is free. Kids T-shirts cost $5, are one size and one style, and must be ordered in advance. Adult shirts and tanks must also be ordered in advance; shirts will not be available for race-day registrants.
Trophies will be awarded to first place male and female finishers in each age group. While results are tabulated, hotdogs prepared by a professional caterer and drinks will be served. Proceeds benefit the Prospect Area Preservation Society. The 5K course passes the boyhood home of the event namesake. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
