Event overview
The Harmony Silvester is held in Historic Harmony on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The celebration honors the town's German heritage by marking Silvester on German time and includes a ball-drop, fireworks, and the singing of Auld Lang Syne, plus vendors and a Christmas tree and wreath toss. The running events consist of a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Distances offered:

5K participants receive a long-sleeve race shirt while inventory lasts; guaranteed sizes required by December 8. The event is chip timed by Wolf Creek Race Management. All proceeds benefit Harmony parks, the trail, and the canoe launch. Refunds are not offered.
Course, logistics and awards
Day-of registration and packet pickup are held at Grace Church Gymnasium, 538 Main Street, Harmony, PA 16037; early packet pickup is available on December 30. Changing facilities are available in the gym and there is ample parking at the church and nearby lots. The 5K is an out-and-back that starts and finishes across from the Harmony Museum parking lot on Mercer Street, featuring a slight downhill start, one large hill, a flat stretch parallel to the Connoquenessing Creek, and a slightly uphill final half mile. The 1 Mile starts on Wood Street across from the Harmony Inn and is a flat in-town loop. Awards: top 3 male and female overall and top 3 male and female in age groups from 10 & under through 80+. 1 Mile participants receive a finisher's medal.
