Trail Running in Pembrokeshire
The RTT Llys Y Fran Trail 10K is the second event in the 2026 RTT Series, held at Llys-y-frân Lake near the Preseli Hills in West Wales. The event utilizes the natural landscape of the central-northern part of Pembrokeshire, located approximately 11 miles from Haverfordwest and 2 miles from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The course features two distance options:
- 10 km
- 5 km
The route passes through a variety of terrains, including woodland scenery and paths adjacent to the lake. Participants are required to use the left side of the paths and share the space with other users. The event is open to individuals aged 16 and over.
The race utilizes chip timing for all participants. The route is fully marked and supported by marshals. Facilities available on-site include water stations for the runners. All participants who complete the course receive a finisher's medal, and the event concludes with an award ceremony.
