RRCA Women's Distance Festival 5K and Kids Run
The event features a certified 5K course at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton, NY. The course is flat, partly shaded, and runs on paved trails. Course certification number is NY13006JG. Start and finish are at the park North Shelter. Chip timing will be provided by Falcon Timing.
Distances:
- 5K Run/Walk on paved trails
- Kids run, about 1/4 mile, for children 10 and under
Awards are given for 1st through 3rd overall and masters places, and three deep in age groups (13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Additional awards include a fastest first timer award, a middle of the pack award, and team awards for Mother/Daughter, Sister/Sister, and Grandmother/Granddaughter. The entry form includes a question to identify first time 5K participants for the first timer award.
Registration details list a general fee of $25 for runners and walkers with a ladies tech T-shirt for pre-registered entries, and $15 for girls 18 and under with a ladies tech T-shirt. Entries after the early shirt deadline may not include a shirt; a limited number of shirts may be available for purchase on race day. Race day registration is listed at $25 for all participants. The Triple Cities Runners Club is the event sponsor.
