Harper's 10K and 2-Person Relay
Harper's 10K and accompanying two person relay take place on August 16, 2026, in Binghamton, New York, at Recreation Park with a venue address of 73 Beethoven Street. The event program includes a standard 10K open division, a 10K two person relay split into two legs, and a 10K student entry.
The course is described as mostly flat with an incline in the sixth mile followed by a long, gradual downhill to the finish. For the relay the legs are approximately 3.2 miles and 3.0 miles, with the exchange area located at the corner of Seminary Avenue and Beethoven Street, near Recreation Park.
Registration windows and fees vary by division: the open and student entries open in May and the relay registration opens in April, with registration for all divisions closing on August 10, 2026. Fees listed are $40 for the open division, $60 for the two person relay team, and $20 for the student entry. Runners who register by midnight July 27 receive the race t-shirt with a locally designed logo.
Awards are custom pottery and mugs given to top finishers in multiple categories, including top open finishers, student winners, age-graded top finishers, and top relay teams across open, family, and student divisions.
