Mountain Rescue Pendle Dark Dash
The Mountain Rescue Pendle Dark Dash is an exciting running event that takes place on Pendle Hill, offering participants a chance to run in the dark while supporting the local mountain rescue team. The challenging 9.2 km course begins in Barley, leading runners up the tourist path to the Beacon, across the flags to Ogden Clough, and back down with stream crossings. The route is marshalled and partially marked, but participants are required to carry a map, compass, and head torch.
All proceeds from the event go to the Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team, a registered charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
