Royals Run 10K/5K/1K
Royals Run offers multiple race options around a park setting and raises funds for the NOVA Royals Athletic Club and associated charities. Registration is not yet open and will open prior to the event.
Amenities include a commemorative finisher medal, live online/text/email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrations completed at least three weeks before the race. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 14, 3–7 PM at Road Runner Sports, 1118 W Broad St, Falls Church, VA 22046. Road Runner Sports is listed as a sponsor and offers participant discounts and rewards for VIP members. Day-of bib pickup is available from event staff starting one hour before the event; last-minute registrants within 24 hours receive their bib number by text.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers in the 10K and 5K, and to the top three finishers in three age categories for those distances: 29 and under, 30–49, and 50 and over, regardless of gender.
Course descriptions:
- 10K 6.2 mile wooded trail that circles the lake
- 5K 3.1 mile tree-lined paved road through the park
- 1K short course for children ages 4 to 10
Sponsorship levels start at $500; in-kind donations such as water, snacks, or services are welcome. Volunteers age 16 and older are accepted.
