Event Overview

The Route 66 100th Anniversary Runway Run takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Tulsa Air & Space Museum, located on the 18R runway of Tulsa International Airport. This event features races on an active airport runway.

Course and Features

The certified 10K and 5K courses take place on the Tulsa International airport runway. The event is stroller-friendly. Packet pickup and race-day registration occur inside the Tulsa Air & Space Museum.

Perks and Beneficiary

Registered participants receive free admission to the Tulsa Air & Space Museum until 1:00 PM on race day. Guests of runners can enter the museum for a $5 admission fee (ages 5 and up, valid until 1 PM). All proceeds from the event benefit the Tulsa Air & Space Museum's operations and its youth aerospace and STEM programs.

Participant Details

All participants receive a finisher's medal. The 10K and 5K are chip-timed races. An award ceremony for the 10K and 5K is scheduled. Parking is available at the museum's address: 3624 N. 74th E. Ave., Tulsa, OK. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
