Event
The Route 66 100th Anniversary - Runway Run takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event is held at the Tulsa Air & Space Museum, located at 3624 N 74th E Ave, Tulsa, OK 74115. Distances offered include:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
The 10K and 5K courses are certified. The race is run on an airport runway at Tulsa International Airport, on runway 18L adjacent to the museum.
Race services and amenities
All participants receive a finisher’s medal. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals are awarded to the top three overall finishers and to age-category winners in both men's and women's divisions. The 10K and 5K use bib tag timing provided by Tatur Racing; online results are available for viewing and download. Registered participants receive free admission to the Tulsa Air & Space Museum until 1:00 PM; guests ages 5 and up have a $5 admission option valid until 1:00 PM. The event is described as stroller-friendly. Registration by February 23 guarantees a t-shirt in the selected size; a limited supply of extra shirts will be available later on a first-come, first-served basis.
