Rousay Peedie Lap 2026
The Rousay Peedie Lap is a community event on Rousay offering running, cycling or walking over a route of about 5 km. The route is described as fairly flat and provides views across the island. Dogs are welcome on the route.
Entry to the event is free and donations are welcome. Any surplus from donations will be used to support youth groups on the islands. The event has a maximum of 100 entrants, entries close on 10 June 2026, and the minimum age for participants is 5 years.
All participants receive a certificate and a medal at the finish. Participants under 11 years old may complete the route by cycle if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants travelling from Mainland Orkney are advised to check ferry timetables in advance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
