About the race
Round The Vines is a community fundraiser for Martinborough School featuring a fun run and walk through vineyards around Martinborough. The event offers two course distances:
- 10 km
- 21 km
The format includes both running and walking options, on-course themed hydration stations, and live music along the event village. After the activity there is a prize-giving with food, wine and live entertainment. The event takes place in Martinborough, with the start and finish area at Memorial Square.
Entry fees for 2026 are listed as general admission and late-pricing options. General prices: Adults $80, Children (6–14 years) $35, Children (0–5 years) free, Family (2 adults/2 kids) $220, Team 4 people $300, Team 6 people $450. Late prices increase for adults, family and team categories. All entry fees are treated as donations to Martinborough School; fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The event proceeds regardless of weather.
Bibs may be collected on the Friday before the event at the Martinborough School Hall or on the morning of the event at the registration desk in Memorial Square. Last-minute registration is available at those same locations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
