Round the Houses 10k
The event takes place on Sunday, 19 April 2026 and features two distances: a 2K Fun Run and a 10K Road Race. The 10K race also incorporates the East District 10K Road Championship.
The course is flat and fast. It uses a route where participants have the chance to run on the same track as Commonwealth athletes. The event starts and finishes at Grangemouth Sports Stadium, which also provides showers and changing facilities.
For participants:
- Race numbers with chip timing are collected on the day at the Stadium Indoor Centre.
- All finishers who provide a valid mobile number receive their finish time via text.
- Participants receive a t-shirt and water after the run.
- There is a prize giving in the stadium.
Specific rules apply:
- The 10K race is designed for runners only, with no entries on the day.
- Participants in the 10K must maintain a minimum pace to complete the course within 80 minutes.
- The 2K Fun Run is open to participants aged 4 and over.
- The 10K Road Race is open to participants aged 15 and over.
- Parking is available at Grangemouth Stadium and Bowhouse Primary School.
