Scurry Swims Lochore 2027
The Scurry Swims Lochore event is a multi-distance swimming and aquathlon festival held at Lochore Meadows Country Park. All swimming segments take place in the fresh water of Loch Ore. The event provides safety cover and is sanctioned by Triathlon Scotland.
Participants can choose from five distinct swimming distances designed to align with various triathlon standards:
- 3800m Iron distance swim
- 1500m Olympic distance swim
- 1900m Middle distance swim
- 750m Sprint distance swim
- 250m Novice swim
In addition to the standalone swimming events, the festival includes two aquathlon options. These combined sports events consist of a swimming leg followed by a running leg:
- Standard Aquathlon: 1500m swim and 10km run
- Sprint Aquathlon: 750m swim and 5km run
