Round the Bridges 12km course, Hamilton
Round the Bridges in Hamilton includes a 12 km race held on Sunday 15 November 2026. The course moves from the city toward the Waikato River, follows river paths and returns to the city centre.
The 12 km route leaves Victoria Street in the CBD, proceeds north along Victoria Street, drops to the river path at Rostrevor Street, and crosses the river at Fairfield Bridge. Runners follow River Road south, pass through Hamilton Gardens, cross Cobham Bridge, and follow the river back to the finish on Victoria Street.
Participants in the 6 km and 12 km categories line up and start on both sides of Victoria Street at the same time. The official start and finish location is Garden Place.

Two trophies are presented to first-place finishers: the Allan Bloore & Donald Miller Trophy for male first place and the Tinkler Shield for female first place. Merit prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers.
Minimum age to enter is 5 years. Entrants aged 5 to 12 must be accompanied for the entire event by an adult known to them, and that adult accepts full responsibility for the child. Participants older than 12 may complete the course without an accompanying adult.
The event includes a corporate teams challenge where workplace teams may compete for a team trophy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
