Round the Bays Wellington 2027
Round the Bays Wellington is a mass-participation running and walking event held on Sunday 14 February 2027 along Wellington’s waterfront. The course links Waitangi Park to Kilbirnie Park and follows the city’s bays.
Distances available:
- Half Marathon (certified course)
- 8.4 km course from Waitangi Park to Kilbirnie Park
- 5.5 km family shortcut
Entry categories and start groups are organised by expected finish time and participant type, including elite, runner, jogger, walker, and wheelchair/disability groups. Infants aged 0–4 are free to enter and can receive a finisher’s medal. Entries are not refundable but may be transferred to another person for a transfer fee.
Entry fees cover a range of event services and race kit items. Included for participants who finish are a finisher’s medal and finisher’s certificate; all entries receive a race bib and timing chip. The event provides on-course water stations, first aid, on-course entertainment, access to a finishers’ festival and sponsor activations, and free event shuttle buses.
