Splash & Dash Round 3 : Freyberg Beach, Oriental Parade, Wellington
Splash & Dash Round 3 is an open water swim and swim-run event held at Freyberg Beach on Oriental Parade, Oriental Bay, Wellington. It is one of a series of mid‑summer rounds with dates listed for the 2026/27 season, including 9 December 2026 for Round 3.
The event offers multiple swim-only and swim-run distances:
- 150 m open water swim
- 400 m open water swim
- 750 m open water swim
- 1.3 km open water swim
- 2 km open water swim
- 150 m swim + 4 km run (total ~4.15 km)
- 400 m swim + 4 km run (total ~4.4 km)
- 730 m swim + 4 km run (total ~4.73 km)
- 1.3 km swim + 4 km run (total ~5.3 km)
Standard entry prices are listed, with reduced rates for participants under 20 and under 16. The minimum age to take part is 13. Younger participants may be permitted if they provide either printed results from a comparable open water swim or evidence that they are a regular member of an organized swimming squad, using the event’s coach confirmation form.
