Splash & Dash Round 2 : Freyberg Beach, Wellington
Splash & Dash Round 2 is an open swim and swim-run series event held at Freyberg Beach on Oriental Parade in Oriental Bay, Wellington. Events take place as part of a recurring series staged every second Wednesday, with rounds in the 2026/27 season including dates on 25 November 2026, 2 December 2026, 9 December 2026, 13 January 2027, 27 January 2027, 10 February 2027, 24 February 2027 and 10 March 2027.
The event program includes pure open-water swim distances and combined swim-run options. Distances offered include:
- 150 metres open-water swim
- 400 metres open-water swim
- 750 metres open-water swim
- 1.3 km open-water swim
- 2 km open-water swim
- 150 m swim plus 4.15 km run
- 400 m swim plus 4.4 km run
- 730 m swim plus 5.73 km run
Standard entry pricing is listed as $25.00 plus fees, with reduced prices for under-20 and under-16 categories. The organiser is Barefoot Events.
