Rotary Rainbow Run - 5k and 1k
The Rotary Rainbow Run is a community running event in San Juan Bautista, California, organized by the San Juan Bautista Rotary Club. The event offers two distances:
- 1k Rainbow Fun Run (pet and child friendly)
- 5k Rainbow Run (timed with awards)
The course starts and finishes on the old El Camino Real (The Alameda) and passes through the historic downtown, nearby neighborhoods, rural countryside, and the California State Park and Mission Plaza. The 5k includes official timing and award recognition. Best Costume prizes will be given to the best dressed runner and to a four legged participant. Team themes are encouraged and costumes should remain family friendly.
All proceeds benefit the San Benito County Esperanza Center as well as local scholarships and grants. Entry fees include a dri tech t-shirt and a finisher medal. The event is identified as the third annual Rotary Rainbow Run for the year 2026 and features both a fun run option and a competitive 5k format.
