Rotary Mission Ten - Half Marathon, 10 Mile and 5K
This event on January 30, 2027 in San Juan Bautista, California offers multiple road races that start and finish in front of the historic San Juan Mission. The event is in its 43rd year and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hollister; proceeds support local scholarships and charities.
Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon : 13.1 miles, USATF certified
- 10 Mile : 10 miles
- 5K : 3.1 miles
- Kid's 1 Mile Fun Run : 1 mile
The course passes through rural farmland and climbs the Anzar hills. Most races are timed and offer awards; medals are awarded three deep in standard age categories and finisher medals are included. Entry fees include a long sleeve dri‑tech shirt and a finisher medal. Theme teams are encouraged and trophies are awarded to top teams; costumes should remain family friendly.
Race day services include packet and bib pickup, race day registration, a refillable water station at the mission lawn and standard water stations with paper cups along the courses. Parking is available on streets near the mission and at the nearby elementary school parking lot and field. Portable restrooms are located near the start and finish and at other points on the course. Families with strollers and runners accompanied by well behaved dogs are welcome. Medals are available at the medal table just past the finish line after completing the race.
