Event overview
The Rotary Mission Ten takes place on Saturday, January 31, 2026 in San Juan Bautista, CA (406 2nd Street Mission Plaza). The event is in its 42nd year and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hollister. Proceeds benefit local scholarships and charities. The race program includes these events:
- Half Marathon
- 10 Mile
- 5K
- Kid's 1 Mile Fun Run
Entry fees include a long-sleeve dri-tech shirt and a finisher medal. All races except the kids fun run are timed and have awards. Medals are awarded three deep in standard age categories. Theme teams are encouraged and trophies are given to top teams.
Course and race day information
All races start and finish in front of the San Juan Mission. The area is rural; courses run through farmland and up the Anzar hills. The Half Marathon is USATF certified and is an extension of the 10 Mile course, passing Anzar Lake. The 10 Mile is a partial loop, generally flat with one hill and an elevation gain of 210 feet between 3.2 and 4.8 miles. The 5K is an out-and-back on paved, flat roads.
Race day registration and packet/bib pickup begins at 7:15 AM on January 31, 2026, with shirt pickup at the same location. There is street parking and additional parking at San Juan Elementary School. A refillable water station is at the Mission lawn; paper-cup water stations are along the courses.
