Rotary Monster Dash
The Rotary Monster Dash is a community running event held on 10/17/2026 at 1501 E FM 2410, Harker Heights, TX 76548, US. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and a separate untimed 1K Little Monster Dash for children. The Little Monster Dash is a for-fun kids' race; costumes are encouraged and a costume contest follows the race. Little Monster Dash participants receive a goody bag.
The 5K awards overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups are listed as 11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, etc., up to 70+. No duplicate awards will be given. 5K race shirts are guaranteed for early registrations with a cutoff date of 10/07/2026; shirt availability and sizes are not guaranteed for later registrations. The regular registration fee for the 5K is $25.00 and for the Little Monster Dash is $5.00. Race-day registration is available at a higher fee of $30.00; cash, check, and credit are accepted.
Early packet pickup is scheduled for Oct 15 (18:00-20:00) and Oct 16 (15:30-18:00). The event is part of the Cen-Tex Race Series and proceeds support area Rotary club projects and Rotary International efforts to end polio. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
