Event

The Rotary Club of Bal Harbour and the Bal Harbour Police Department organize the 9th Annual 5K Race/Walk on February 8, 2026 at Haulover Park on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. The event is a fundraiser for a scholarship fund that will provide academic or police academy scholarships for people pursuing a career in law enforcement or an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice or Public Administration.

Race details

Packet pick-up is scheduled for Saturday, February 7 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Bal Harbour Waterfront Park, 18 Bal Bay Drive, Bal Harbour, FL 33154. Participants will receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal, and sponsor giveaways. Awards are planned for the top three overall male and female finishers and for the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 5 & under; 6-10; 11-15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 & over.

The race will be chip timed by Southern Timing, LLC, with live results, an individual results page, a finisher certificate, and a 20 second clip of each runner crossing the start and finish. A course map is available on plotaroute.com. Registration uses tiered pricing and includes a special pricing category for active duty, retired military, and first responders; ID may be required at check-in.
