Rosy Rhubarb Walk / Run 2026
The event is organized by The Optimist Club of Fingal - Shedden and District and takes place on June 14, 2026 at 9210 Union Road in Shedden ON, Canada.
Distances offered include:
- 1 km fun run for children aged 12 and under
- 5 km run or walk
- 10 km run
Finisher medals are provided for all participants. A race map will be published closer to the event date. Parking is available at the soccer fields at 9210 Union Road. Road closures will occur around the venue with a secondary closure at Talbot Line and Union Road. Participants who arrive late are asked to enter via Highway 3 at the Keystone Complex, park at the very back by the barns, and walk the trail to the start.
Safety provisions include St. John's Ambulance on site. There are three water stations positioned at approximately 2.5 km 5 km and 7.5 km. First aid kits will be available at the 5 km turnaround and the 10 km turnaround. The event will proceed in all weather conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
