Rosendale Runs Half Marathon and 6K Run/Walk takes place in Rosendale, New York. The event offers two distances: a half marathon and a 6K Run/Walk. The course is mostly flat, with 93% on an unpaved but well-groomed stretch of the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail and two short off-trail spur sections, featuring scenic fall foliage.
Runners cross the 146-year-old Rosendale Trestle bridge, 150 feet above Rondout Creek, and pass lakes and a cave at the Williams Lake Project. Proceeds benefit the Wallkill Valley Land Trust; the event caps at 300 entrants, with shirts guaranteed for registrations by Sept 15, plus refreshments, a finisher medal, raffle prizes, and age-group awards.
