Fleet Feet's 2026 Howl at the Moon Powered by HOKA is scheduled for February 1, 2026 in Poughkeepsie, NY at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie, 1895 South Road. The event is an untimed fun run and offers a suggested 5K route laid out in the Shoppes at South Hills parking lot. A full 5K equals about three laps of the suggested route, and participants may complete one, two, three, or more laps according to their preference. HOKA will provide demo pairs of the Gaviota 6; demo shoes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration, rules, and participant items
The listed price for the event is $32.80, including a $2.80 fee. Space is limited and there is no waitlist. Registrations can be transferred between individuals. The event will be held in rain or snow unless road conditions make travel unsafe. Participants must wear night gear for safety: a light to see the route (head, waist, or wrist) and a flashing light or light-up vest to improve visibility to drivers; small clip-on blinkers are acceptable. Headphones are strongly discouraged. No water will be provided on the course. All registered participants receive a long-sleeved hoodie with a glow-in-the-dark sleeve element, a custom bib, a handmade glow-in-the-dark finisher's medal, and a black & white cookie.
