Rose Rock Trail Run
The Rose Rock Trail Run is the seventh annual trail running event at Cross Timbers Riding Area at Lake Stanley Draper in Oklahoma City. The event draws more than 400 runners and walkers and takes place on land that covers about 1,100 acres and is normally closed to pedestrians 364 days a year.
Courses run on winding single track trails over dirt and gravel. Distances are approximate and can vary with changing conditions. The mapped routes include some hills and sections described as challenging.
Distances offered include:
- 5K - winding single-track trails on dirt and gravel; about 3.1 miles
- 10K - winding single-track trails on dirt and gravel; about 6.2 miles
- 25K - winding single-track trails on dirt and gravel; about 15.5 miles
- Virtual Trail Run - virtual participation option
