Event overview
The Rose Rock Trail Run takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Cross Timbers Riding Area - North Gate Entrance, Lake Stanley Draper, Oklahoma City. The event offers three distances:
- 5K Trail Run
- 10K Trail Run
- 25K Trail Run
This is the event's sixth annual edition.
Course and venue
Races use the blue trail inside the Crosstimbers Motorized Off Road Vehicle Riding Area. The venue covers over 1,100 acres with about 60 miles of trails; those trails are closed to pedestrians except for this event. The courses are series of loops on groomed single-track trails composed of clay, sandstone, rocks, and gravel. Terrain is described as hilly and varied. The start and finish area is accessible via the north gate, about a half mile west of the intersection of SE 119th and Draper Drive.
Logistics, timing and extras
Timing uses MyLaps Bib Tag with chip start and chip-time scoring; live online results and downloadable finisher certificates are available. Packet pick up is scheduled at Red Coyote Running and Fitness in Classen Curve and at the Earlywine Park YMCA in the days before the race; race day packet pick up is also offered. Prizes include a Red Coyote gift card for top overall male and female finishers at each distance. There are no age group awards. Portable restrooms will be on site.
