Rose City (Welland) - Triathlon and Duathlon, June 27 and 28, 2026
The event takes place at the Welland International Flatwater Centre in Welland, Ontario and offers triathlon and duathlon formats across two days. Olympic distance events are scheduled on Saturday. Sunday features Sprint and Give-It-A-Tri events on a fully closed bike course.
The venue includes an elevated transition area that overlooks the swim course. Spectator facilities include grandstand seating and the registration area, food vendors, awards, and finish line are located close to each other. Free parking is available at the venue.
The program includes multiple categories and relay options as well as Swim-Bike and Bike-Run variants. Online registration closes on June 24 at 12PM or when individual events reach their entry limits. Participants who register by June 7 receive a race specific t-shirt; registrations after that date receive a series t-shirt. There is a 5 CAD reduction available for opting out of selecting a t-shirt.
The refund policy provides 75% refunds four weeks prior to event weekends, 25% refunds two weeks prior, and no refunds within two weeks of an event; processing fees apply. Transfer options are listed with fees for sub-event transfers, participant to participant transfers, and event to event transfers, together with timing and fee difference rules. All registrations must include Triathlon Ontario membership or a Triathlon Ontario one day fee.
Planned communications include a pre-event notice around June 17 with course details and a final notice around June 25 with bib and start information, followed by a post race report the week of June 29. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
