Rooster Days Run presented by TTCU Federal Credit Union
The Rooster Days Run is held in conjunction with the Rooster Days festival, a local tradition that began in 1931. The festival is held at Central Park in downtown Broken Arrow, and is described as the oldest festival in Oklahoma. Early Rooster Days focused on a poultry market and community gatherings.
The running event is an annual set of races that start and finish at the festival and are run along Main Street in downtown Broken Arrow. The event includes two distances:
- 5K run
- 1K Fun Run
All participants receive a cotton race shirt and a finisher medal. Post-race food is available, and beer is offered to those 21 and over. The event information notes special pricing for entrants aged 18 and under. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
