Event overview
Romsey 5 Mile is organised by Challenging Events Ltd and takes place on 18 January 2026 at Broadlands Estate, Romsey, Hampshire. Places are reported as limited. The event includes an adult 5 mile race and a separate kids fun run of 2 km. The kids race covers one lap of the course. Adults in the main race must be at least 15 years old on the event date; the kids race is open to those aged 14 and under.
Course and facilities
The course is three laps of the Broadlands Estate. The surface is mainly tarmac with a short section of smooth hardcore. The course has been officially measured by a UKA official and given a multi-terrain certificate. There is one water station on the route. Competitors receive a finisher medal at the line unless they select the no-medal option. Chip timing, post-race massage and award presentations are provided. T-shirts are available as an extra and must be ordered four weeks before the event.

Entry fees published range from £10 to £35, with the main 5 mile entry priced around £30-35 and a lower-cost no-medal option available. There is no official parking inside Broadlands Estate; nearby car parks such as Aldi and Crosfield Hall use pay and display. Marshalling volunteers receive a credit voucher for use at future events.
