Roly's Run

Roly's Run is an annual trail running event held in the scenic Meon Valley and South Downs Way, Hampshire, UK. The 2025 edition offers three distance options: 15.5, 21.5, and 40 miles, featuring challenging ascents of 463m, 712m, and 1266m respectively. The courses form a clockwise loop starting and finishing at Swanmore Village Hall, passing through Beacon Hill, Exton, Meonstoke, and Winchester Hill, with the longer routes extending to East Meon, Ramsdean, and Butser Hill.

Approximately 80% trail, the terrain includes climbs and potentially slippery sections. The event honors the memory of ultra-runner Rich Walklate (Roly) and welcomes both newcomers and experienced ultra runners, with fully stocked checkpoints and a supportive atmosphere.
