About the race
ROGUE//MOUNTAIN is an event in Spokane, WA on October 17, 2026 organized by Phase One Missions. The event offers timed runs and rucks on a measured trail course using an AMLAP format - as many laps as possible.
Distances and formats include:
- 6 hour run
- 6 hour ruck
- 2 hour run
- 2 hour ruck
The course is a 6 mile out and back following the Quartz Mountain Lookout Trail. The route will be marked with orange fluorescent flagging markers at eye level or staked along the trail. Course sweepers operate toward the end of the event.
Two semi stocked aid stations are placed on course: Selkirk Lodge at the start and finish, and the Quartz Mountain Lookout Tower at the halfway point. Aid offerings include water and sponsor nutrition products such as Tailwind Endurance Fuel, NeverSecond C30 gels, and 1st Phorm bars and energy drinks. Participants are encouraged to carry any personal nutrition they normally use.
Participants must display a Discover Pass for entry into the state park and bring appropriate trail gear for the event duration. Laps are tracked by marking a tally on the bib and checking in with the Race Director or a volunteer; bibs and finisher recognition items are issued after completion. No refunds are offered.
