Event Overview
The Hauser Lake Icebreaker Run is an annual event held in Hauser, Idaho. Participants follow a course around the scenery of Hauser Lake. The event features multiple distance options:
- 10k run
- 5k run
- Virtual 5k/10k
The 10k course is USA Track & Field Certified and serves as a Bloomsday Second Seed Qualifier. All routes consist of paved roads. This event is chip-timed to ensure accurate tracking for all participants.
Participant Information
Walkers and dogs are permitted to participate in the events, with the requirement that they start at the back of the group. All finishers receive medals, and participating dogs receive bandanas. For those opting for the virtual participation, race materials including shirts and bib numbers are sent by mail.
Race Day Details
Registration and packet pickup are available on the morning of the event at the Fire Station. Early packet pickup is also organized at Fleet Feet Coeur d'Alene on the Saturday prior to race day. The event site includes a food and coffee truck for refreshments. A raffle and a medal ceremony are scheduled following the completion of the runs.
