Event Overview
Run the 509 takes place in Deer Park, Washington, on May 31, 2026. Hosted by 509 Wellness, the event features a variety of distances held on an out and back course. Participants travel through local neighborhoods, past a golf course, and across more rural landscapes. The terrain consists of a mix of paved roads and sidewalks. The route is characterized by minimal elevation gain throughout.

- 5K
- Toddler Trot (un-timed, approximately six blocks)
Course Details and Support
The race is conducted on open roads. Flaggers are positioned along the course, and participants are expected to follow the rules of road running and remain aware of vehicle traffic. Support on the course includes several aid stations. The 5K route includes one station with water and first aid, plus access to two public restrooms. The 10K and 1/2 Marathon routes provide additional aid stations equipped with water, hammer gel nutrition, and outhouses.
Amenities and Recognition
All finishers receive a medal after completing their event. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K, 10K, and 1/2 Marathon. Age group prizes are also available. Participants who register by May 13 are guaranteed a t-shirt at packet pickup.
