Roger's Run & Walk : 8th annual
Roger's Run & Walk is a free community 5K walk and run held at Faith Home Adult & Teen Challenge in Ceres, California. The event is presented in partnership with Modesto Moves Training Team and Faith Home Adult & Teen Challenge and accepts online donations during registration.
The event uses a timing clock and timing chips for recorded results. Awards are given to the overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. Modesto Moves provides event organization and participants, and donates 100% of proceeds collected by the Moves organization to Faith Home Teen Challenge.
The event program includes a pancake breakfast provided by Faith Home Adult & Teen Challenge with a suggested donation of $5 per person, drawing prizes with free entry using the race bib number, and raffle prizes with tickets sold by Modesto Moves. Faith Home Adult & Teen Challenge is described as a faith-based recovery program working with men in the local community.
