Event overview
Rocky's Run is a 5K event held on the University of South Florida Tampa campus in Tampa, FL (4202 E Fowler Ave, 33620). The event includes two entry types: a run and a walk. The course passes through MLK Plaza and other campus areas and is presented as a campus route.
Logistics and extras
The starting line is located at the Marshall Student Center in front of Chick-fil-A; participants are asked not to go to the Beard Garage/Juniper-Poplar side of campus. Free parking is available in Collins Garage and Crescent Hill Garage. Early packet pick-up takes place at the USF Tampa Library on the Thursday and Friday before the race (2:00 PM to 6:00 PM). Race-day packet pick-up is at the Marshall Student Center. Pre-race coffee is provided by Starbucks; post-race refreshments are provided by Sprouts and EverBowl. Awards recognize the top two overall male and female finishers and first place male and female in each age category: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over.
