The event is a 5K road race held on April 19, 2026, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL. The course starts on 1st Avenue South, continues through the streets of downtown St. Petersburg, routes through Al Lang Stadium, and finishes at Tropicana Field. Registration and race details
Registration includes a commemorative medal, a race T-shirt, a timing chip and race bib, one ticket voucher to the Minnesota Twins vs Tampa Bay Rays game on April 24, 2026, and one ticket voucher to a regular season home Tampa Bay Rowdies match in 2026. One Tampa Bay Rays waiver is required per runner.
Age group and overall winners receive a custom Running with the Rays 5K hat. Award categories include 1st place overall men and women, masters (40+), grand masters (50+), and multiple age groups from 9 & under up to 80+.
Free parking for the race is available in Tropicana Field parking lots 1 and 2 with entry access off 16th Street. Registration fees vary by registration period: early bird pricing listed at $55 (Nov 27–Jan 31), standard pricing listed at $65 (Feb 1–Apr 18), and day-of registration is available.
