About the race
The Rocky Mountain Tap 5k is a recreational running event held in Louisville, Colorado. Part of the Colorado Brewery Running Series, the event follows a 5 km route that begins and ends at the Rocky Mountain Tap & Garden. This is an untimed, informal run where participants are welcome to run, walk, or jog at their own pace.
The course is set on open roads, meaning the route remains open to public traffic. Participants are responsible for following all traffic laws and regulations. The path is marked with directional arrows and supported by volunteers to guide runners through the surrounding neighborhood. No bag check services are provided at the location.
After completing the course, participants receive a craft beer or a non-alcoholic beverage. Other amenities included with registration are a collector's pint glass or a seasonal item. The event area features live music, food trucks, and local vendors. Dogs and strollers are permitted on the course, provided they are managed with caution on the city sidewalks and trails. A portion of the proceeds from the event series is donated to local Colorado non-profits. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
