Rockville 10K/5K
The City of Rockville, in partnership with the Montgomery County Road Runners Club (MCRRC), organizes a community running event at King Farm Village Center in Rockville, Maryland. The 10K and 5K courses run along the streets of the King Farm community.
Distances offered:
- 10K Race, 6.2 Miles
- 5K Race, 3.1 Miles
- Kids' One-Mile Fun Run, 1 Mile
Registration for the 10K and 5K opens July 1, 2026 and closes September 7, 2026; the registration fee for each is $30.00. Registration for the Kids' One-Mile Fun Run opens July 1, 2026 and closes on November 1, 2026; the fee is $18.00. Race day packet pickup and on-site registration are available.
Road closures will be in effect for the event. A 15:00 min per mile pace will be enforced due to permitting and road reopening; participants who fall behind this pace will be moved to the sidewalk. Walkers are encouraged to use the 5K distance because of road closure restrictions.
Strollers are permitted and should be placed toward the back of the field at the start of each race. Dogs and other pets are not permitted on the course. Bag check service is provided for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
