About the race
The Rockville 10K/5K takes place on Sunday November 1, 2026, at King Farm Village Center in Rockville, Maryland. The City of Rockville organizes the event in partnership with the Montgomery County Road Runners Club (MCRRC). The event includes a community road course that runs along the streets of the King Farm neighborhood.
Distances offered:
- 10K Race - 10 kilometer race on the King Farm street course.
- 5K Race - 5 kilometer race on the King Farm street course.
- Kids' 1-Mile Fun Run - one mile course for younger participants.
Race operations include a 15:00 minute per mile pace enforcement due to permitting and road re-opening procedures; participants who fall behind that pace will be moved to the sidewalk. Walkers are encouraged to enter the 5K only because of road closure restrictions. Strollers are permitted when seeded at the back of the field. Dogs and other pets are not allowed on the course.
Registration opens July 1, 2026. Entry pricing listed for the event includes $35 for the 10K and 5K and $18 for the Kids' 1-Mile Fun Run; some price deadlines apply.
