Event overview
The Rocktown Turkey Trot takes place in downtown Harrisonburg, Virginia on Thursday, November 27, 2025. The event includes a main road race and a youth running event. Distances/events:

The four mile race is a professionally timed event; participants receive a race bib and a chip timing device at packet pickup. The Kids Dash runs through the closed streets of Court Square in Harrisonburg and finishes prior to the start of the main race.
Registration and logistics
Preregistration pricing listed by the organizer: 4 Miler - $27 early bird, $32 regular; Gobble Gobble Kids Dash - $22 early bird, $27 regular. November 16 is the deadline to be guaranteed a shirt; after that, remaining shirts are distributed first-come, first-served. Online registration closes on November 25.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26 at Brothers Brewing. Walk-up registration is offered at packet pickup with a $5 price increase. There is no race day packet pickup.
