Massanutten - UltraTrax
UltraTrax at Massanutten on April 17, 2027 is a single-day, ten-hour endurance walking challenge in Massanutten, VA. Participants choose a target distance and may complete loops unweighted or with a weighted vest or ruck for bonus swag.

The course begins on the western slope and uses a mix of flowing singletrack, wide doubletrack, and mountain-bike lines. A full loop is listed as 7 miles with varied terrain and 553 ft of elevation gain. For 2027 there are two course options: a western slope route that avoids the steepest descents and an optional advanced segment that follows the ridgeline and ski slopes with steeper elevation changes and technical rock scrambles. The advanced segment will open only in safe weather conditions.
Event levels correspond to the number of loops (one through four) and each level allows the option to add weight. Participants receive a commemorative patch, a venue-specific finisher shirt, and a Trail Wolf or Grey Wolf medal depending on distance. Support includes professionally timed tracking, well-marked trails, stocked aid stations, professional photos, and shuttle service to the start with parking near the finish.
