Event overview
The New Year’s Eve Glow Run takes place on December 31, 2025 at Heritage Oaks Golf Course in Harrisonburg, Virginia (680 Garbers Church Rd). The event includes a 5K Glow Run and a Kids Countdown Run. The 5K follows golf course cart paths. All participants receive glow paraphernalia and are encouraged to bring their own headlamps or flashlights. Wheelchair racers, strollers, and leashed pets are allowed. The Kids Countdown Run is a half-mile roundtrip with a disco ball and a countdown at the halfway point; children receive noisemakers.

Preregistration pricing listed for the event is:
- 5K: $25 early bird, $30 regular
- Kids Countdown Run: $15 early bird, $20 regular
Key dates and notes: December 19 is the deadline to be guaranteed a shirt; after that, remaining shirts are distributed first come, first served. Online registration closes December 30. Packet pickup is available at Heritage Oaks Golf Course on December 31 from 12pm to 4pm; walk-up registration has a $10 additional fee.
