Event details
The New Year’s Eve Glow Run is scheduled for Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Heritage Oaks Golf Course in Harrisonburg, Virginia (680 Garbers Church Rd, 22801). The event includes a 5K run on the golf course cart paths and a kids countdown run that is a half-mile roundtrip with a disco ball and a countdown at the halfway point. The race is presented by Generations Crossing. Participants receive glow paraphernalia and are encouraged to bring headlamps and flashlights. Wheelchair racers, strollers, and leashed pets are permitted on the course.
Registration and logistics
Preregistration prices are listed for both the adult 5K and the Kids Countdown Run, with early entry and regular rates noted by the organizer. Registration closes online on December 30, 2025. December 19 is the deadline to be guaranteed a shirt; after that date remaining shirts are distributed first come, first served based on registration time.
