NYE Glow Run
The NYE Glow Run takes place on the final day of the year at the Heritage Oaks Golf Course in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The event utilizes the paved cart paths of the golf course, providing a surface separated from vehicular traffic. Participants navigate the course as the sun sets, creating a transition into the evening hours.
To ensure visibility and provide a thematic element to the event, all participants receive glow-in-the-dark items to use while on the course. While organizers provide these materials, runners are also permitted to bring their own illumination equipment, such as headlamps and flashlights.
