Rockingham Enduro Triathlon
The Rockingham Enduro Triathlon takes place at the Alexander Street car park on the Rockingham foreshore. The event features a unique enduro format where participants complete two traditional triathlons back-to-back in a swim-bike-run-swim-bike-run sequence. The swim is held at Rockingham beach in shallow, flat water, while the multi-lap bike course and the run path follow the coastline.
The event offers several race categories to accommodate different preferences:
- Enduro: Two rounds of a 200 m swim, 10 km bike, and 2 km run.
- SuperEnticer: A single triathlon consisting of a 200 m swim, 10 km bike, and 2 km run.
- Duathlon Enduro: Two rounds of a 2 km run, 10 km bike, and 2 km run.
- AquaBike Enduro: Two rounds of a 200 m swim and 10 km bike.
- Kids Triathlon: Multiple distances available for younger participants.
The bike segment consists of a 3-lap course on a flat section of Rockingham Beach Road, which is closed to general traffic during the event. The run follows a 2 km out-and-back route on the foreshore footpath. An aid station providing water is located near the transition area, and a recovery area with water and bananas is available at the finish line. Registration is conducted online, and participants must collect timing chips on the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
