Rockin' Riverfest events in St Charles, MO
The Rockin' Riverfest on Saturday July 4, 2026 takes place at Frontier Park and along the St Charles riverfront. The event program includes the following distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- 5k fun run/walk/stroll
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The course starts on the Katy Trail and follows shady single track trails beside the Missouri River. The route is described as flat and fast. An aid station is located at about mile 1.5; the 10k route sees additional aid stations near miles 4 and 5, and the half marathon repeats the course with corresponding aid stations each lap.
Race services include a custom finisher T shirt (guaranteed for those who register by June 15), a custom bib number, professional race timing with instant results and timed splits, and free downloadable finish line photos and video. All 5k, 10k and half marathon participants receive a finishers medal. Racers Village provides colas, sports drink, race snacks, and ice; aid stations offer water, sports drink and pickle juice. Music plays in the Racers Village and an awards ceremony on podiums presents Gold, Silver and Bronze for overall and top three in multiple age groups.
Packet pick up is scheduled at Bike Stop Cafe the Thursday before the event and also in Racers Village on race morning. The event notes a local fundraising option with 100 percent of proceeds to the St Charles School District Cross Country program.
