Rocket City Microthon
Rocket City Microthon is a fundraising event presented as a playful take on a traditional road race. It takes place on September 27, 2026, on the Butler Green at Campus 805 in downtown Huntsville, located at 2620 Clinton Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35801. The course covers a very short distance of 0.12k (383 feet) between the Straight to Ale and Yellowhammer Brewery areas on the Campus 805 grounds. Participants wear numbered bibs and follow the short course in either direction.
Registration offers three entry packages with set fees and included items. The Runners Package includes race entry, a free t-shirt, and a ticket to use at a Campus 805 brewery for a fee of $30. The Slacker's Package, priced at $50, provides the event swag without requiring participation in the race. The Kid's Package, priced at $20, is for children and uses the same 0.12k distance. Registration is open from February 23, 2026 through September 26, 2026.
