Rock Reno Half Marathon and 5K
The event takes place on October 4, 2026, in Reno, Nevada. The half marathon is a point to point course that starts in South Reno at the Swift Sportsdome and follows the Truckee River through east Reno streets, bike paths, and parks to a finish outside Greater Nevada Field in downtown Reno.
The event includes these distances:
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon Relay (two person relay with midpoint exchange)
- 3.1 miles 5K run and walk starting and finishing at Greater Nevada Field
The course has six aid stations stocked with water and electrolytes, and nutrition is available at the halfway point. The halfway location also serves as the relay midcourse exchange and provides parking access.
A runner shuttle is provided from the finish back to the start for half marathon participants; there is no return shuttle for participants who drive to the start. The half marathon and relay use a 3 hour 30 minute course cutoff, which corresponds to a 16:02 per mile pace. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
