Rock Reno Half Marathon, Relay & 5K
Rock Reno is a running event in Reno, Nevada, built around a point to point half marathon course. The half marathon starts near the Swift Sportsdome in South Reno and follows the Truckee River through east Reno streets, bike paths, and parks before finishing at Greater Nevada Field, home of the Reno Aces, near downtown Reno.
Race options include:
- 13.1 Miles Half Marathon
- 13.1 Miles Half Marathon relay (two person)
- 3.1 Miles 5K run/walk
The course includes six aid stations stocked with water and electrolytes, and there is additional nutrition available at the midpoint. The midpoint also serves as the relay exchange point and provides parking for meeting relay teammates.
Organizers provide a runner shuttle from the finish back to the start for half marathon participants; there is no return shuttle for participants who drive to the start. The half marathon and relay have a 3 hour 30 minute course cutoff, which corresponds to roughly a 16:02 per mile pace.
