Bartley Bunny Run
The Bartley Bunny Run is a trail running event held at Bartley Ranch Regional Park in Reno, Nevada. The course is mostly dirt and includes a slight climb to a scenic overlook near Audrey Harris Park, often called the windy hill lookout. The route starts and finishes at Bartley Ranch Regional Park, passes through Anderson Park trail, returns to the windy hill, and finishes back at Bartley Ranch Regional Park.
The event includes these distances:
- 5k Race
- Virtual 5k Race
The event is recognized and sanctioned by USA Track and Field. USATF policy for sanctioned events does not allow animals to compete, except for service animals. EMT services will be provided by REMSA. The race will be officially timed and results will be posted online after the event.
This event functions as a fundraiser for the Azteca FC running program. Azteca FC is a nonprofit and a registered USA Track and Field club that competes in the Pacific Association and Region 14. The program supports youth athletes ages 7 to 18 and adult athletes 18 and up who train and compete in track and cross country. The proceeds from the 5k races support athlete competition and travel to regional and national events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
