Long Beach Half Marathon, 15k, 10k & 5k Races
A Better World Running organizes year-round races at Long Beach (5400 E. Ocean Blvd.), offering multiple distance options along the shoreline. The organizer presents the course as flat and fast and locates it directly along the scenic Long Beach coast. Events run throughout the year, including seasonal and holiday-themed races such as Halloween and New Year offerings.
Distances available include:
- 5k
- 10k
- 15k
- Half marathon
The races are described as affordable and family-friendly, with opportunities for both runners and walkers. Since 2011 the organizer has hosted Long Beach races regularly and continues to schedule events at this location across the calendar year.
The organizer provides finisher medals and runs a medal program for participants who have completed multiple locations since 2011; those medals are available at race pick up only. The Long Beach events are one group within a larger set of A Better World Running locations and a broader calendar of races offered by the same organizer.
