Monster Dash - Long Beach, CA
The Monster Dash takes place on October 24, 2026 in Long Beach at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90802. The event offers multiple road running distances on mapped loop and out-and-back courses along the Long Beach area.
Distances included:
- 5K - out-and-back route.
- 10K - two 5K loops.
- 15K - three 5K loops.
- Half marathon - three loops of 4.36 miles.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal and a drawstring goodie bag. The event provides free photos and videos, live results at finish, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking and the Ascend Crew feature, plus a free A Better World Running app to track races, photos and videos. An assortment of snacks and samples is available.
Pacers and crew are welcome. The course has numerous restrooms and water fountains. Running or walking with a stroller is allowed. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit; an early start may be available upon request. The organizer emphasizes a relaxed, personal racing experience.
