Rock Falls First Responder 5K
The Rock Falls First Responder 5K takes place on October 31, 2026, at 508 E. 11th St., Rock Falls, Illinois. The event is organized by the Rock Falls Fire Fighters Association Local 3291 and is presented as a community, family-friendly morning with Halloween elements.

- 300 yards Kids Run for children 12 and under

A Halloween-themed Kids Trick or Treat Fun Run is held before the main race; children are encouraged to wear costumes and expect candy and a festive atmosphere. Costumes are encouraged for participants of all ages. Packet pick up is available at the Rock Falls Fire Station on Friday, October 30 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with race day packet pick up at 8:00 AM.
Proceeds support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, college scholarships for students pursuing careers in emergency services, and other local charitable and community programs funded by Local 3291.
