Rock Creek Foundation 5k & 10k : Rock Creek Regional Park
The event is a chip-timed running event held at Rock Creek Regional Park in Rockville, Maryland on November 7. Distances offered:

The course uses approximately 1 mile of paved path and about 2 miles of trail with rolling hills. The 5k is one out-and-back; the 10k is two out-and-backs. Water stations are placed along the courses: two stations on the 5k and five stations on the 10k at the listed mile markers. Gatorade is available at some water stations. Restrooms are available inside the park.
Runners receive a finisher medal, a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before October 28; additional shirts are first-come first-served after that date. Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5k and $45 for the 10k through October 15, increasing thereafter; prices increase by $5 on race morning.
A virtual race option is available. Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series and toward the Fall Series. The Back of the Pack time is 13:00 and the series is geared toward runners who average slower than that listed pace.
