Event overview
The Rochford Remembrance 10 is a community road race held on Remembrance Sunday with the start and finish in Rochford Square, Essex. The event uses a 10-mile course and all donations go to Help for Heroes. The race holds a UK Athletics permit (number 30110) and has an age limit of 17 and over.
Route and race information
The course passes the War Memorial, goes through Rochford and surrounding villages, and returns to Rochford Square. Roads are open except for the start area and Bradley Way, which will be temporarily closed. The route is marshalled and signed. Chip timing is provided, and there will be water stations at approximately 6 km, 11.2 km, and at the finish line. A bespoke finisher medal is awarded and event photos are available to download.
Practical information
Registration occurs at the Freight House, Bradley Way, next to Rochford Train Station; race numbers and timing chips are collected at registration and participants must complete competitor information on the back of their race number. Bag drop is at the Freight House with a tear-off tag on the race number; items are left at the owner’s risk. Registration closes at midnight on Friday 31 October 2025 or earlier if the race limit is reached.
