Rochford Remembrance 10

The Rochford Remembrance 10 is a community road race held on Remembrance Sunday in Rochford Square, West Street, Rochford, Essex. The event starts and finishes in Rochford Square and passes the War Memorial before running through surrounding villages. All donations from the event are directed to Help for Heroes. The event holds a UK Athletics permit (number 30110) and has an age limit of 17 and over. A two-minute silence is observed at the start line before the race and dogs are not permitted on the course.

• 10-mile road race on a scenic course through Rochford and nearby villages
• Open roads except for the start area and Bradley Way, with a marshalled route and key signage
• Water stations at 3.5 miles, 7 miles and at the finish line
• Chip timing, bespoke finisher medal and free downloadable event photos
• Registration takes place at the Parish Council Hall opposite Rochford Train Station; race numbers and timing chips are collected there and participants must complete competitor information on the back of their race number
• Bag drop uses a tear-off tag on the race number; drop location details and final race instructions are provided before the event
• No deferrals or refunds are permitted; participants must confirm they are medically fit to take part
