Event Overview
The Smugglers Trail is a trail running event on Sunday, 8th March 2026. It is organized by Essex Trail Events under TRA Permit 8032 and is held under UK Athletics rules. The race features two distance options: approximately 10 miles and approximately 6.3 miles. The minimum age to participate is 17.

The Race HQ is located at The Smugglers Den pub on 315 Ferry Rd, Hullbridge. The entry fee includes a £4 voucher to use at the pub's bar on the day. Results will be posted on the organizer's website, www.essextrailevents.com.
Entry Information
Entry fees are £9 for affiliated runners and £11 for unaffiliated runners, plus a booking fee. Participants must select an available start time when signing up. Running or walking with dogs is not permitted under UKA rules. The organizer states there will be no refunds except if the race is cancelled.
