In-person entries for the half marathon and 5K include electronic timing, online results, post race food, a finisher medal, and a shirt with size guaranteed if registered by August 23. The event fee includes a bus pass to the start line. Virtual registrations include online results, shipping of shirt and medal to US addresses when needed, and a printable finisher certificate. Vintage swag is available at packet pickup while supplies last.
Course notes: the half marathon route runs along the Turning Point Trail and the Genesee River with multiple bridge overlooks, passes through Charlotte, Irondequoit, and Seneca Park Zoo, and finishes in the High Falls district at Innovative Field. The 5K follows the final 3.1 miles of the half marathon. The Kids 1/2 Mile is a point to point course near High Falls at the corner of Furnace and Browns Race; walking to the start is required and escorted walks from Innovative Field are provided at set times. Kids finish under the main finish arch and receive a dedicated finisher medal.
The half marathon awards cash prizes to the top five male and female finishers and requires submission of tax documentation for prize payment.
